EDWARD J. PEIFER is the partner of the accounting, auditing, and quality control departments of Long, Barrell & Co., Ltd.  He has been employed there for 24 years.

He has completed the Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational Achievement Program, a series of specialized courses sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ed is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the membership committee of the PICPA and its Reading Chapter.

Ed is a former member of the Peer Review committee of the PICPA.  He is the past president of the Mt. Penn Rotary Club and is involved in leadership positions in various civic organizations and in his local church.
